Hiring: Maintenance Mechanic Day Shift - Anacortes Plant Company: Trident Seafoods Location: Anacortes, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:24:09 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •3-5 years of experience in production maintenance. •2year of experience in Production Maintenance. •5 years of experience in production maintenance. Required Skills: •The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots, repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical and electrical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and production equipment by performing the following duties. •1st shift– 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM - All positions require to work weekends (mandatory), and holidays as needed. •Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. •Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. •Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. •Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. •Repairs or replaces defective parts. •Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Qualifications: •A minimum of 2year of experience in Production Maintenance. •HS Diploma or equivalent. •Operational familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyors and bagging machines. •One year certificate from college or technical school. •Basic electrical and automation controls. •Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) •Strong communication skills and ability to problem solve and troubleshoot diverse breakdowns. •Demonstrated knowledge in various software programs such as Microsoft applications and experience with a CMMS program. •Demonstrated capacity to operate a variety of hand tools to include welding machines, cutting torches and power tools. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
