Hiring: Maintenance Manager Company: Alphagary, an Orbia business Location: Leominster, MA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 15:14:35 Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management About the job Required Skills: •Manage and lead the maintenance team to ensure effective operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities. •Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Develop a system for asset integrity programs for long-term goals. •Oversee project management for maintenance-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget. •Utilize schematics and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment. •Operate with a “safety first” mindset, prioritizing the maintenance and operations teams’ safety, including but not limited to proper PPE, training, and awareness of hazards, etc. •Ensure the maintenance team achieves their allocated work priorities to meet Safety, Quality, and Delivery (Production) requirements, thus minimizing production downtime. •Willing and able to work with the team on equipment, as needed, to support, lead and train. •Identify and procure (with Purchasing support) materials and stock to ensure part availability for machine PMs and repairs. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field •Electro-mechanical skills and the ability to apply experience flexibly. •Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment (preferred) •Strong knowledge of compound plastics manufacturing processes and equipment (preferred) •Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs. •Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role within an industrial setting. •Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. •Proficient in English, with both written and verbal communication skills. •In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and industrial maintenance practices. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret schematics related to mechanical and electrical systems.
