Required Skills: •Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance and calibration technicians, providing guidance, support, and direction in their daily activities. Foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment focused on achieving departmental goals and objectives. •Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Prioritize, and coordinate equipment care activities to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to production schedules. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. •Training: Oversee the site’s Maintenance Training program; Activities include performing skills assessments, identifying skill gaps and required training, ensuring the proper training is available and being conducted/received. Manage the development and sustainment of simulation equipment, learning labs and training centers. •Contractor Management: Participate in overseeing the identification, selection, scheduling, and management of on-site contractors. Ensure they are working safely and within their allotted scope of work. To review and approve their submitted documentation of work performed and associated fees. •Vehicle Management: Responsible for the identification, selection, operation and maintenance of the department’s mobile equipment including trucks and golf carts. •To ensure proper and timely registration, insurance, maintenance, and repairs of this equipment. •Performance Accountability: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the maintenance and calibration team, holding them accountable for achieving planned objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement and career path development. •Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment uptime, maintenance backlog, and technician productivity. Generate reports and performance metrics to track departmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: •Work Experience - 1- 3 years manager/supervisory experience in a Manufacturing operation. •While performing the responsibilities of the Maintenance Equipment Supervisor, the employee is required to walk, climb, talk, and hear. •The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle, feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard. •Often, the employee will be required to stand and walk to different areas of the site. •The employee will need to be able to climb ladders and stairs frequently.
