You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world. •This role requires employees to live in or around the Phoenix, AZ area. You will be responsible to be onsite 3 days a week. We will consider candidates who are willing to relocate to the area. •Install, upgrade, and maintain CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS) environments •Configure and maintain CICS regions (production, test, DR) •Maintain startup parameters and system initialization tables (DFHSIT) •Perform tuning to eliminate bottlenecks •There are lots of opportunities to gain certification and qualifications on the job, and you’ll continuously grow Many of our Mainframe Infrastructure Engineers are on a path toward becoming either an Architect or Distinguished Engineer, and there are opportunities at every skill level to grow in either of these directions. Qualifications: •Minimum 5+ years of experience in Mainframe CICS. •Proven experience in CICS System Administration environment with work management, user management, journal management and performance management. •Capable of Upgrading/Installing and Migrating CICS Transaction servers. •Capable of Upgrading /Installing and supporting IBM & ISV related Products Proficient in technologies like P2V, V2V and P2P migrations. •Proven experience on the CICS functionality and architecture. •Basic Knowledge on the following technologies: z/OS, Unix System Services, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM, Third party products.
