Hiring: Mail Carrier-Driver B Company: University of Washington Location: Seattle, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 14:45:15 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Required Skills: •Finance, Planning, and Budgeting (FPB) has an outstanding opportunity for a Mail Carrier Driver to join their team. •This position requires the ability to work with a variety of people and to work under pressure while maintaining a positive service attitude. •Drive a variety of trucks and other motorized vehicles as well as bicycles. •Deliver, receive and collect United States mail and private courier, delivery services including packages, campus mail including books, files, cartons, packages, overnight express, pallets and additional supplies etc. •Make delivery to, and pick up from, U.S. Postal facilities, bulk, insured, overnight express, registered, certified, and regular mail. Pick up or drop off mail and materials from UW departments or vendors as needed. •Use hand trucks, dollies, mail carts, bicycle, bicycle trailers and pallet jacks in the transport of materials. •May make on-campus deliveries of newspapers, record retention boxes, supplies and pick up’s for commercial surface or air transport services. •Case and sort United States postal and campus mail; load/unload mail sacks. Qualifications: •To be considered for this opportunity your application must demonstrate you meet both the minimum qualifications and additional qualifications listed below.
