Experience with machining and cutting operations required. Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred. Domestic travel may be required. Schedule will vary according to department needs; overtime work may be requested. Required Skills: •Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Lathe and/or 5-axis milling machines to produce high-quality components. •Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications and comply with production guidelines. •Make necessary adjustments to CNC programs and machine setups; document and report all changes and corrections. •Partner cross-functionally with Engineering to optimize machining techniques, tooling selection, and programming strategies. •Aid in the selection of tooling, jaw requirements, and fixtures for various machining operations. •Operate multiple production machines efficiently and safely. •Utilize manufacturing reporting systems to track production metrics and maintain accurate records. Qualifications: •Proven experience with CNC Lathe and/or 5-axis milling equipment. •Demonstrated capacity to interpret technical drawings and specifications. •In-depth knowledge of machining principles and CNC programming. •Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards. •Effective communication and teamwork skills. •Lifting up to 50 pounds, standing •Carrying objects, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, walking •Sitting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, handling •Our national headquarters and primary production unit is in Mebane, NC.
