Requires the willingness and ability to work overtime as necessary. Required Skills: •We are seeking a precision Machinist to join our Machine Shop in Redmond, Washington •. This is a DAY SHIFT POSITION and typically works Mondays - Thursdays from 5:00AM – 3:30PM, but candidates must be willing and available to work other shifts or overtime as needed to meet delivery schedules. •(Seattle area), we fabricate, assemble, and test chemical and electric thrusters, as well as small scale propulsion systems. Our electric propulsion systems enable a wide variety of missions from the exploration of our solar system to global communication and the surveillance of severe weather and wild fires •Reading and understanding GD&T, engineering drawings and blueprints including true positioning and conventional tolerancing. •Reading and following production planning. •Running jobs close to tolerances of +/- .0001". •Maintaining a rejection rate of less than 2%. •Using precision measuring instruments to check work.
