Required Skills: •Independently perform complete and partial rebuilds of Tesker thread rolling machines and machine components. •Disassemble machines as required, including heads, plates, hydraulic components, electrical components, guarding, and other assemblies. •Inspect disassembled components for wear, damage, and areas requiring repair or replacement. •Clean and prepare machines and components using appropriate methods, including scraping, pressure washing, degreasing, and sandblasting. •Rebuild machine heads, hydraulic tanks, and related hydraulic components. •Perform basic manual machining, drilling, fitting, and repair work as needed during the rebuild process. •Determine when components require additional machining and coordinate those operations with other machinists in the facility. •Replace worn components, seals, bearings, hydraulic lines, hardware, and other parts as required. Qualifications: •Previous experience rebuilding, repairing, assembling, or restoring industrial machinery, automotive equipment, engines, heavy equipment, or similar mechanical systems is preferred. •Automotive rebuilding or restoration experience can translate well to this position. •Candidates with strong mechanical rebuilding experience outside of industrial machinery are encouraged to apply. •Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of mechanical assemblies. •Demonstrated capacity to methodically disassemble equipment, inspect components, keep parts organized, and accurately reassemble equipment. •Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, drills, grinders, and basic manual machining equipment. •Basic machining and metalworking experience is preferred but not required. •Demonstrated capacity to read mechanical drawings, prints, and related technical information is preferred. •Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. •Demonstrated capacity to recognize worn or damaged components and determine when additional repair or machining may be needed.
