Hiring: Machine Operator- Sortation Company: Novolex Location: Connersville, IN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:33:07 About the job Required Skills: •Machine Operator - Sortation - HIRING IMMEDIATELY - Connersville, IN Compensation Includes •Starting rate of $23.25-26.76 an hour (additional $1 per hour as shift differential for nights) •Operate and monitor sortation equipment, including conveyors, optical sorters, shredders, metal separators, and screening systems. •Adjust machine settings and operating parameters to maximize efficiency, throughput, and material quality. •Follow production schedules and maintain consistent material flow throughout the process. •Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain performance standards. •Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs through established procedures. •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications: •High School diploma or equivalent. •Eligible to work in the United States. •Six months to four (4) years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, recycling, distribution, or industrial environment preferred. •Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. •Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen. •Demonstrated capacity to work a 12-hour shift. •Demonstrated capacity to work overtime as required. •Demonstrated capacity to follow safety policies, procedures, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. •Demonstrated capacity to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation. •Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
