Hiring: Machine Operator PR04 (2nd Shift) #1 - Portland ME Company: Tyson Foods Location: Portland, ME Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 23:34:57 About the job Required Skills: •This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. •Lead and oversee monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. •Lead and oversee ensuring all production equipment is set up and prepared per production schedule, including labels, batter, stuffing, etc. •Oversee machine operations and makes minor equipment adjustments. •Performs metal detections and other quality and USDA required inspections and must be able to read, write and complete necessary paperwork. •May perform basic maintenance on machines. Contacts Maintenance Mechanic if necessary. •Interacts with Line Leads to determine equipment set-up and operation. •May be responsible for machine adjustments when production changeovers occur.
