Required Skills: •Supervises and coordinates activities of team members in the Machine Shop that are engaged in operating a variety of CNC and conventional machines to shape metal parts or products by removing excess material. •(Other duties to be assigned or directed) •1st Responsibility – Ensuring personal safety and the safety of team members. •Wears appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection. •Proactively promotes The McWane Way principles. •Oversees the day-to-day functions supporting the operation. •Ensures quality processes are in place and effective. •Effectively communicates and translates safety standards to employees to ensure clarity is reached throughout the department.
