Hiring: M&A Integration Manager Company: Pave America Location: Warrenton, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 11:15:15 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Program Management, Project Management, Six Sigma, Stakeholder Management About the job Experience: •8 years of experience in project/program management, M&A integration, management consulting, or operations — ideally with exposure to post-merger integration or a PMO/IMO environment Required Skills: •Integration Project Management •Build and maintain the master integration schedule for each acquisition, sequencing ~700 tasks across eight-plus functional workstreams (F&A, IT/systems, HR, operations, safety & insurance, fleet, sales, and communications) •Run the integration operating cadence: weekly workstream check-ins, status reporting, milestone tracking, and escalation of blockers and decisions to the VP •Coordinate functional owners across corporate and branch teams — assign tasks to named owners, confirm dependencies, and hold stakeholders accountable to dates •Manage the diligence-to-integration handoff: convert pre-close findings, scorecards, and the value creation plan into an executable Day 1 / first-100-days / 12-month plan •Track integration performance against plan — milestone completion, synergy capture, and dissynergy mitigation — and flag variances early •Value Creation Support •Project manage execution of the value creation playbook with acquired-company leadership, supporting the VP who owns the primary seller relationship Qualifications: •4–8 years of experience in project/program management, M&A integration, management consulting, or operations — ideally with exposure to post-merger integration or a PMO/IMO environment •Demonstrated ability to run large, cross-functional task plans (hundreds of line items) with disciplined scheduling, dependency management, and follow-through •Strong stakeholder management: comfortable driving accountability with functional leaders and field operators without direct authority •Proficiency with large datasets and data visualization — advanced Excel required; Power BI (or equivalent) strongly preferred •Hands-on proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) applied to real work product — not just familiarity •Clear, concise written and verbal communication; able to produce executive-ready status materials •Bachelor's degree required; PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar certification a plus •Willingness to travel up to 40% during active integration periods •This is a 100% remote role with 25% travel.** •: (Each to have one of the following based on the position: Never, Rarely, Occasionally, Constantly) Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
