Hiring: Low Voltage Technician Company: Brooks Building Solutions Location: Jacksonville, FL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 12:17:23 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •3 years of experience as a low voltage technician, preferably with electrical background Required Skills: •We are seeking two experienced •To join our Building Automation team. This is a full-time, hands-on role for individuals with at least three years of experience in low voltage systems and electrical work •Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining building automation and low voltage systems while ensuring work is performed safely and according to code. •Install low voltage cabling, conduits, control panels, and related equipment according to engineered drawings and specifications •Terminate wiring for sensors, controllers, and other building automation devices •Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing low voltage systems •Partner cross-functionally with project managers and other trades to ensure projects are completed on time •Follow all safety protocols and maintain code-compliant installations Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to safely walk and work on active construction/job sites, including uneven surfaces and areas under construction •Demonstrated capacity to climb ladders and access elevated equipment and work areas •Demonstrated capacity to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, sit, and work in tight or awkward spaces •Demonstrated capacity to use hands and fingers for handling tools, terminating wiring, and working with small components •Demonstrated capacity to differentiate colors for identifying color-coded wiring and components, and safely lift/carry tools and materials as required •Why Work at Brooks Building Solutions? •At Brooks, your work has impact.
