Experience managing complex clinical studies preferred. •Knowledge of international supply chain processes, carriers, third party logistics companies, forwarders, couriers, and transportation performance measures required. •Able to operate at a fast pace and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with tight deadlines. •Exemplary multitasking and organizational skills. Required Skills: •Partner cross-functionally with Setup Managers, Strategic Client Managers and Project Managers to ensure that all logistics needs for assigned projects / programs are clearly defined and documented. •Manage 20-40 studies at a time, which are classified as complex with a high level of importance. •Provide immediate response to Project Management on logistics queries and concerns. •Serve as the primary logistics contact for Project Management and Client Services and is in direct contact with Sponsors and/or Contract Research Organizations in case of specific logistics topics. •Investigate, with support of colleagues in the logistics team, feasibility for shipping lanes in support of client objectives for site and laboratory locations; make recommendations for transit strategies. •Support in creating a document of site-instructions, i.e., Starter Packs, in collaboration with the selected carrier(s). •Develop logistics and customs compliance strategies and processes for assigned projects / programs. •Develop and execute processes for drafting and managing pro-forma and shipment-specific invoices across all partners, vendors and regions. Qualifications: •BS or MS in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
