Developing a sense of account leadership, including understanding client needs, ensuring delivery excellence, and building trusted partnerships, is part of what sets successful consultants apart. •Success in this role comes from a growth mindset, strong communication skills, advanced critical thinking, and the ability to navigate new challenges with confidence. •Provide loan review services and other consulting engagements with clients on credit related matters •Prepare detailed financial analysis, including cash flow models and collateral evaluations in order to identify potential credit risks •Evaluate whether commercial loan requests adhere to bank policies and procedures •Analyze and conduct systematic loan reviews of business-related credits to ascertain adequacy of credit quality, loan documentation, credit administration, and compliance with established policies •Work on credit projects under a manager; however, you will often work autonomously on certain aspects Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent combination of education and experience •Graduate degree or Professional certification a plus (i.e. – RMA CRC) •Underwriting, lending, or regulatory experience - not a role for a consumer finance background •Solid functional working knowledge of SBA SOP is a plus •Understanding of credit processes, such as loan origination and underwriting; credit policies; portfolio management; allowance for loan and lease losses; loan review and remediation •Thorough knowledge of federal and state banking laws related to credit risk •Prior experience with risk ratings, risk rating methodology, and allowance methodology would be a plus •Strong written and verbal communication and comprehension both formally and informally to our clients and our teams, in a variety of formats and settings, including in interviews, meetings, calls, e-mails, reports, process narratives, presentations, etc. •Prior experience should include progressive responsibilities, including supervising and reviewing the work of others, and project management, including self-management of simultaneous work-streams and responsibilities •A self-starter who can prioritize multiple tasks, be resourceful and able to research and find solutions Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
