Required Skills: •CCOF is seeking a Livestock Certification Supervisor to join our Farm certification team! •The Livestock Certification Supervisor manages a team of Certification Specialists and oversees CCOF's USDA National Organic Program (NOP) livestock scope standards and OPT Grass-Fed certification. This position works to ensure effective implementation and consistent application of certification in these two standards. •If you are passionate about our mission to advance organic agriculture for a healthier world and have experience with the USDA National Organic Program standards for livestock, we encourage you to apply. •Step into a leadership role where you'll join a dynamic and mission-driven team that collaborates to support approximately 160 livestock clients and will play a key role in ensuring the organic integrity of products in the marketplace. •This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the Director of Farm Certification. This is a United States-based remote position. •Applications will be reviewed starting on September 14, 2026. •Ensure CCOF consistently implements the USDA NOP standards with regards to the livestock scope in addition to OPT Grass Fed regulations. •Address ongoing updates and clarifications to USDA NOP & OPT Grass Fed regulations to ensure that CCOF's positions are clear, consistent, and communicated effectively. Qualifications: •Five years' experience as a CCOF Certification Specialist including demonstrated leadership/expertise or equivalent experience in a similar role within the industry. •Understanding of organic livestock standards including familiarity with the National Organic Program (NOP) regulations, accreditation requirements, certification processes, and certification requirements. •Exceptional critical thinking skills to work independently within established procedures and use available resources to overcome obstacles and problem-solve. Able to ask for assistance when needed. •Professional written and verbal communication to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Writes clearly to tailor messages to various audiences. Organizes and shares information effectively. •Able to confidently navigate roles involving communicating regulatory requirements. •Understands how to prioritize competing needs and tasks without sacrificing quality. Able to monitor, plan, and follow through on tasks with competing deadlines. Able to effectively track information from multiple sources such as emails, phone calls, meetings, and messaging notifications. •Notices and fixes errors that others might overlook. Acknowledges mistakes and turns them into learning opportunities. Has a track record of leaving things better than they found them. •Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite (especially Outlook, Word, and Teams) and other relevant applications such as database programs. Able to learn database programs and maintain accurate database records. •Proficient in delivering technical support and building trust through professional and empathetic customer service interactions. Displays a courteous, helpful attitude when interacting with clients and can de-escalate tense situations. •Actively contributes to the team by completing tasks and meeting goals. Actively listens to coworkers, respects ideas, and aims to improve processes. Receptive to constructive feedback.
