(NASDAQ: NNE) Location: Oak Brook, IL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 07:42:10 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Regulatory Compliance About the job Experience: •5 years of experience in licensing, engineering, quality assurance, or technical writing preferably in the nuclear or energy industries. •Minimum 5 years of experience in licensing, engineering, quality assurance, or technical writing preferably in the nuclear or energy industries. Required Skills: •Develop licensing documents (e.g., Topical Reports, PSAR, FSAR, etc.) in accordance with applicable NRC guidance and established project commitments and schedules. •Interface with responsible system engineers to ensure supporting design documents provide objective evidence of statements of fact included in licensing documents submitted to regulatory authorities. •Interface and work with applicants to ensure licensing product deliverables meet customer requirements and ensure regulatory compliance of topical reports, construction permit application, operating license application, and related licensing documents. •Support interactions with NRC during pre-application engagements, during NRC review of submitted licensing documents, and during NRC audits. •Participate in NRC public meetings and remain abreast and up to date on NRC and industry developments associated with advanced non-light water reactors and microreactors. •Support development of company policies and project procedures to support implementation of reactor projects. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and standardization of work. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant Science or Engineering field (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Engineering Science, Physics, Mathematics). •Operational familiarity with NRC guidance and industry initiatives associated with advanced non-light water reactors such as RG 1.232, RG 1.233, RG 1.242, and RG 1.253, and NEI 18-04 and NEI 21-07, etc. •Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards typically used for compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. ACI, ANS/ANSI, ASME, IEEE, etc.). •Strong verbal and written communication skills. •Operational familiarity with specific licensing documentation requirements, public transparency requirements, information withholding requirements and procedures, and document processing requirements and processes for licensing documents. •Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team contributing to positive culture and overall team results.
