This is a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position focused primarily on teaching and contributing to the instructional mission of the School. •Provide high-quality instruction grounded in contemporary architectural knowledge, methods, and practices. •Develop and deliver course content that advances student learning and supports the broader goals of the architecture curriculum. •Mentor and advise students through coursework, design reviews, and other academic activities. •Contribute to coordination across courses and curricular sequences, including collaboration with faculty teaching within shared or coordinated courses. •Participate in the intellectual and academic life of the School, including reviews, lectures, exhibitions, workshops, and other School activities. •Contribute appropriate service to the School consistent with the expectations of a Lecturer appointment. Qualifications: •Candidates must hold a professional degree in architecture (B. •Arch.) or a graduate degree in architecture or a closely related field by the start of the appointment. •Knowledge of architecture appropriate to the courses they will teach. •Evidence of, or strong potential for, effective teaching at the university level. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate architectural ideas and knowledge clearly to students with varying levels of experience. •Commitment to collaborative teaching and to contributing to a rigorous and supportive academic environment. •Prior experience teaching architecture at the university level. •Professional experience in architecture or a closely related design field. •Expertise that complements the School's current curricular needs. •A record of professional, creative, scholarly, or pedagogical work that demonstrates continued engagement with architecture and the built environment.
