Hiring: Lead Technician Company: Pavion Location: Canton, MS Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 15:04:27 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Systems Design About the job Experience: •5+ years of experience in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarms, and other physical security systems) •2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, managing teams of technicians in the field •At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, managing teams of technicians in the field Required Skills: •Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and supervise a team of security technicians responsible for installing, configuring, and testing security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarm systems) for new data center construction projects •System Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and integration of security infrastructure, ensuring systems are properly installed, configured, and tested per design specifications •Collaboration with Construction & Engineering Teams: Work closely with construction, electrical, and network teams to ensure timely and coordinated installation of security systems •Quality Control: Ensure all security systems are installed to meet quality standards, including testing and validation of systems before handover to operations •Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning. Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution •Training & Development: Train junior technicians on security systems installation, best practices, and safety protocols. Provide guidance on effective troubleshooting and system configuration •Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of installations, system configurations, and test results. Generate progress reports for internal stakeholders •Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, local and national codes, and company policies.
