Required Skills: •Netsmart is seeking a Lead Software Architect, Cloud & AI Modernization to support architecture direction for CareDimensions. This role is designed for a hands-on architecture leader who can help bridge current-state application complexity with cloud-enabled, scalable, and AI-aware future-state solutions. •This is an onsite role in Overland Park, KS, and candidates must live in or relocate to the Greater Kansas City metro area. •Lead application architecture guidance for CareDimensions products and engineering teams. •Assess current-state systems and help define practical modernization paths that improve scalability, maintainability, reliability, and cloud readiness. •Partner with engineering teams on architecture decisions, design reviews, code reviews, prototypes, and reference implementations. •Partner cross-functionally with DevOps and cloud infrastructure partners to improve CI/CD, deployment patterns, monitoring, observability, reliability, and operational support. •Guide architecture across AWS, distributed systems, APIs, application integrations, data flows, and secure cloud-enabled design. •Help teams modernize legacy components through modular design, APIs, domain-driven patterns, service boundaries, and technical debt reduction.
