Required Skills: •Serve as the manufacturing product engineer for rotating hardware components, with end-to-end ownership of manufacturing support and process performance •Lead efforts to improve ergonomics, safety, and overall shop-floor execution •Drive improvements in First Time Yield (FTY), productivity, and manufacturing efficiency •Reduce inactive hardware, aged work-in-process (WIP), and cost of quality (CoQ) •Support process redesign and layout optimization using lean principles and continuous improvement methods •Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure performance supports delivery commitments for a $65M business Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or (a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting). •A minimum of 3 additional years of experience in manufacturing/production. •GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience is permitted. •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, especially mechanical or aerospace engineer. •Advanced experience in manufacturing or production. •Improvement & escape prevention, Technical requirements & process control, GD&T, blueprint reading, problem solving, lean manufacturing •Demonstrated success working in a unionized manufacturing environment, with understanding of role boundaries, partnership expectations, and effective coordination across represented and salaried teams. •Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across operations, quality, engineering, planning, and maintenance to resolve issues and improve shop performance. •Humble and coachable: Approaches others with respect, stays agile in changing situations, and is eager to learn. Actively seeks out and is receptive to feedback, using it as an opportunity for growth and continuous improvement. •Transparent and constructive: Communicates with candor, shares critical information openly, and contributes in a thoughtful, solutions-oriented way that builds trust across the team.
