Hiring: Lead IT Business Analyst Company: Eaton Location: Raleigh, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 09:12:25 Target Skills & Keywords : AI, AutoCAD, Business Analysis, CAD, Change Management, Data Lake, Jira, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Product Lifecycle Management, Project Management, Requirements Management, Systems Engineering About the job Required Skills: •The Business Analyst serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT function, leveraging business analysis tools and techniques used to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. •Responsible for business analysis planning; requirements elicitation; requirements management and communication; requirements analysis and validation for medium and large projects; estimation of BA work and meeting estimates; testing scenarios and script development; and guiding customers through user acceptance testing. •This position will work on projects that deploy and integrate solutions across the engineering portfolio, including: Portfolio/Project Management, PLM, CAD, Design Simulation, Design Automation, MES, ERP, Data Lake, and other engineering-adjacent applications to enable unified Digital Threads . •Business Analysis Planning: Assist in planning the business analysis approach, deliverables, and planning estimates for medium projects (runners, minor and major repeaters) •Validation: Coordinate the approach and development of use cases and test scenarios with the customer to ensure user acceptance testing is complete and validates that project requirements have been achieved. •Functional Support: Apply application experience to provide end user training and direct application testing for the solutions being deployed •Design Support: Work with system and solution architecture to confirm solutions that meet customer requirements. Define those proposed solutions into functional design proposals for development and end-user review. •Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This position will often work with other business analysts, project managers and business teams on a regular basis. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution •Minimum of 3-year IT or relevant work experience •Solid functional working knowledge of foundational engineering process including New Product Development (NPD/NPI) and Change Management •Operational familiarity with core engineering digital design applications including MCAD, ECAD, and design simulation •No relocation is provided for this position.
