Hiring: Lead Engineer, Protection and Controls (Hybrid Schedule) Company: Eversource Energy Location: Westwood, MA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:23:52 Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management About the job Required Skills: •Supervises the work activities of personnel assigned to the Protection & Controls Engineering – Compliance, Standards & Support section. •Ensures periodic compliance activities undertaken are in accordance with NERC, NPCC and ISO-NE requirements. •Actively facilitate and support development of standards and procedures for compliance of the transmission and distribution protections systems in accordance with existing and future NERC, NPCC and ISO-NE requirements. •Lead and oversee the initiation, development and revision of company standards and procedures in the development of Protection and Controls designs and relay settings. •Actively facilitate and support development of standards and procedures for operation and maintenance of the transmission and distribution system. •Lead and oversee the evaluation and selection of technology and equipment for the system. •Supervises the root-cause analysis of disturbance events, development, and implementation of corrective actions •Provides technical support and direction to operating areas relative to system priorities, engineering guidelines and operating decisions during normal and emergency situations.
