Required Skills: •Include But Are Not Limited To System Requirements & Specifications: Drive system-level electrical requirements definition, authoring detailed product and sub-system specifications for microgrids, BESS, power conversion equipment, and switchgear. •Product Development Rigor: Drive electrical hardware lifecycles through formal development processes, leading DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) execution. •Electrical System Architecture: Establish power distribution architecture, grounding strategies, protection coordination, and system interconnects across multi-component microgrids. •Supplier & Subsystem Integration: Provide supplier technical oversight, lead design reviews, and manage the technical integration of third-party power conversion equipment, generation assets, and energy storage systems. •Testing, Verification & Field Support: Lead test planning, verification, hands-on system bring-up, pre-compliance testing, and root-cause debugging in the lab, as well as field commissioning and troubleshooting support. •Voice of Electrical Engineering: Represent the EE discipline in cross-functional alignment with mechanical, firmware, software, and product management teams, while establishing design best practices and mentoring engineering peers.
