Required Skills: •Lead and oversee ensuring complex substation projects are tested and commissioned in accordance with industry and Eversource standards with a focus on safety and maintaining system reliability •Lead and oversee assisting in the development of standards and procedures for the test and commissioning of substation projects. •Collaborates with Engineers within Engineering to ensure consistency and teamwork. •Accountable for root-cause analysis, development and implementation of corrective actions relating to project commissioning. •Collaborates with other engineers within Engineering to ensure consistency and teamwork. •Manages, coaches, develops and reviews performance of engineers and other staff. •Supervises, administratively and/or functionally, engineers and other direct reports, as assigned •Provides technical support and direction to operating areas relative to system priorities, engineering guidelines and operating decisions during normal and emergency situations. Qualifications: •Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline. •In addition to bachelor’s degree, minimum of eight (8) years in utility distribution/transmission engineering.
