Hiring: Lead Combustion Repair Engineer Company: GE Vernova Location: Greenville, SC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:42:54 About the job Experience: •3 years of experience working in, with, and/or supporting a manufacturing, services, repair, or design environment Required Skills: •Develop, drive, and industrialize repair processes and technology for the services network in support of repair strategy with focus on GE Vernova heavy-duty gas turbine combustion repair programs •Lead projects to directly impact productivity and fulfillment efforts •Interface directly with Repair Development Center and service center engineers to perform repair process technology testing in the RDC •Drive standard work through lean practices utilizing lean roadmaps and value stream mapping while supporting process improvement and continuous problem solving. •Interface directly with Product Line and Customer Service Engineering teams to address fleet issues. •Maintain a culture of safety, integrity, compliance, and engineering discipline. •Understand, model and communicate the AMRT culture and seek ways to integrate it into the broader GE Vernova culture. Assist in developing an inspirational leadership organization that coaches team members in building trusting relationships •Lead and inspire the search for high impact engineering projects Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering field of study from an accredited college or university •Minimum of 3 years of experience working in, with, and/or supporting a manufacturing, services, repair, or design environment •Strong mechanical design and analytical background with familiarity in manufacturing processes •Lean training or equivalent quality training •Ability and established track record to drive projects to completion •Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers •GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
