Required Skills: •Lead Backend Engineer – PHP / Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) •Build and extend Magento APIs, GraphQL resolvers, modules, services, plugins, observers, cron jobs, and message-queue consumers. •Build REST and GraphQL APIs and service layers that decouple frontend applications from Magento and other backend systems. •Integrate with catalog, pricing, inventory, promotions, customer/identity, PIM, ERP, and OMS platforms. •Develop and support event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging using RabbitMQ or similar platforms. •Interface directly with AWS/cloud-native services, caching, databases, queues, observability, and distributed-system troubleshooting. •Address Magento performance considerations, including indexing, database load, caching, asynchronous processing, and high-volume catalog and order workloads. •Build middleware and adapters that map new commerce services into existing Magento GraphQL/API contracts during phased migration. Qualifications: •Strong PHP and Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 expertise. •Deep experience with Magento APIs, GraphQL resolvers, modules, services, plugins, observers, cron jobs, and message-queue consumers. •Strong experience building REST/GraphQL APIs and service layers. •Strong event-driven architecture and messaging experience, preferably with RabbitMQ or similar asynchronous messaging platforms. •In-depth knowledge of Magento performance and high-volume catalog/order workloads. •Strong automated testing, CI/CD, code-review, debugging, and production-support experience. •What Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your Future •HTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
