Hiring: Laborer Company: Amrize Location: Hubbard, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-14 13:46:26 About the job Experience: •1 year general laborer experience Required Skills: •Amrize a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, is seeking a Laborer to provide essential manual support in keeping the plant clean, safe, and operational while heavily assisting during plant moves. •This position is located in Hubbard, TX. •Handles the distinct cleaning demands of both systems - including the physical chipping / washing of central mixer drums ( wet ) and aggregate collection hoppers ( dry). •Performs heavy manual labor during plant mobilization/demobilization and strictly adheres to LOTO and fall-protection rules. •Acts as the backbone of daily plant housekeeping and preventative maintenance. •Prevents material contamination by thoroughly cleaning aggregate charging bins, weigh hoppers, and conveyors between mix changes. •Assist QC Technicians with cylinder handling. •Keeps the plant clean to prevent build-up that can cause premature mechanical wear, and helping to avoid costly parts replacements. Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to work outdoors. Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, good physical fitness, a good sense of balance, and an ability to work as a member of a team. Valid driver’s license. •Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
