Hiring: Laboratory Technician Company: Celanese Location: Evansville, IN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 10:15:03 About the job Required Skills: •Prepare samples and operates laboratory equipment according to established procedures. •Accurately records, analyzes, and reports test results in laboratory information systems and quality databases. •Provides accurate and timely quality data to support production •Demonstrates compliance with lab procedures and recordkeeping/documentation requirements. •Execute accurate calculations and reporting. Qualifications: •High school diploma or GED required. •A minimum of 6 months work experience in manufacturing lab is preferred. •Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. •Must demonstrate minimum color aptitude by scoring a 50 or lower using the Farnsworth-Munsell Hue Test. Laboratory Management will also assess results screening for color deficiencies as outlined in the FM-100 test method. One re-test may be permitted. •Demonstrated capacity to multitask (manage multiple simultaneous samples in organized high quality environment) is required. •Must be able to lift 55 lbs. •Demonstrated capacity to read, understand, and follow written procedures and instructions. •Basic computer skills using Microsoft applications. •Good verbal and written communication skills.
