As a Laboratory Technician with the Department of Urology, you will play an important role in supporting innovative kidney cancer research in the laboratories of Dr. Eric Kauffman and Dr. Blake Wilde. •The starting annual salary for this position is $42,434 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package. •Perform laboratory techniques such as cell culture, molecular biology, and biochemical assays •Assist with mouse models used to study kidney cancer •Help coordinate projects that span multiple research teams and investigators •Maintain accurate experimental records and research documentation •Support patient enrollment for research studies and assist with tissue collection for laboratory analysis •Contribute to laboratory organization, inventory management, and supply ordering Qualifications: •Successful candidates will bring a combination of scientific curiosity, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and work effectively across teams •Applied hands-on capability in Two Or More Of The Following •Metabolomics or LC-MS sample preparation •Recombinant protein production and purification •Mouse breeding, handling, or animal procedures •Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field; or Associate’s degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time laboratory experience; or High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time laboratory experience. •Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
