Required Skills: •As a Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing to provide reliable and analytical services to Operations and customers in a timely manner. •Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times •Completes material analysis to determine characteristics and waste profiles •Makes determination of pH, screens for oxidizers, peroxides, cyanides, and sulfides, and identifies fuel and water compatibilities •Determines heat of combustion (BTU value), total halogens and completes water analysis (by Karl Fischer), percent solids and paint-filter liquids •Utilizes Company Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) •Performs compositing, packaging, organizing, and proper disposal of retain and other waste samples •Stocks and organizes laboratory areas and storeroom with chemicals and laboratory supplies Qualifications: •High-school diploma or equivalent (required) •Associates / bachelor’s degree in a science related field (preferred) •In lieu of experience, an associates degree in a science related field (required) Compensation: •Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
