Required Skills: •Oversee daily clinical toxicology laboratory operations, including workflow, turnaround time, quality, and instrument performance. •Lead method development and validation for new analytes, matrices, and testing platforms. •Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize •, including Shimadzu LCMS-8050 and Sciex 5500 platforms. •Ensure compliance with CLIA, COLA, CAP, QC, proficiency testing, SOP, and documentation requirements •Supervise, train, and develop laboratory personnel. •Work closely with the Medical Director on new test implementation, workflow approvals, and inspection readiness. •Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and laboratory performance. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree or higher in clinical laboratory science, chemistry, biology, or a related field. •3–5+ years of hands-on LC-MS/MS experience within a clinical toxicology laboratory. •Strong knowledge of high-complexity laboratory regulatory requirements. •Previous leadership or supervisory experience. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain a Nevada General Laboratory Supervisor license •; sponsorship and support are available. •MLS (ASCP) or similar certification.
