The team is responsible for trading a range of over-the-counter and exchange-listed financial instruments on behalf of Invesco’s global investment teams •Primary responsibility will be the best execution of trades across multiple product areas, including FX, equity derivatives, and commodity derivatives. •Liaise with operations, risk, compliance, and legal departments to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement, comply with the firm’s compliance framework and ensuring adherence to local regulations. •Cultivate relationships with counterparties in support of the firm’s access to liquidity and investment idea flow. This may include attending meetings, some of which may be after normal business hours, with counterparties and other industry representatives, for the purpose of developing appropriate industry contacts and relationships. •Assist portfolio managers in monitoring and analyzing portfolio positions and potential trades. •Maintain awareness of developments in market structure, liquidity, regulations, and trading technology. •Assist in the automation of and prepare performance related reports, utilizing market and execution data to provide value-add transaction cost analysis. •Trading experience, and/or familiarity with Aladdin or Charles River is a plus, but not a requirement.
