Required Skills: •This role will be based in our Houston office. •As part of the Quantitative Strategist team, you will support senior quants and trading desks by applying quantitative methods to develop and maintain models used for energy derivatives valuation and physical asset optimization. •Success in this role will be driven by a strong interest in quantitative problem solving, a desire to learn innovative modelling techniques, and the ability to deliver accurate, scalable solutions. •Bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future. •Provide quantitative support to traders, structurers, and risk managers and assist in the development and maintenance of production grade quantitative models and analytical tools. •On a day-to-day basis, you will research and help implement valuation and optimization models for physical assets such as power plants, storage facilities, and renewable energy projects. •Also contribute to enhancing and industrializing existing pricing, risk, and data analysis tools for use within front office platforms, as well as assisting with scenario analysis and simulations to support trading strategy and decision making.
