While the firm also handles civil rights cases, those are primarily managed in another office. •Assist in managing personal injury matters from inception through trial •Handle court appearances and conferences •Participate in trial preparation and serve as second chair when appropriate •Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel •Collaborate closely with partners and support staff Qualifications: •Has 5-7 years of litigation experience •Has strong experience in personal injury law •Is comfortable drafting and arguing motions •Has substantial experience with legal writing •Is interested in - or eager to gain - trial experience •Is confident taking ownership of cases •Trial experience is preferred but not required; what matters most is a genuine interest in becoming a trial lawyer and a willingness to step into the courtroom.
