Required Skills: •Perform systems engineering analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, and implementation support activities under the direction of senior engineering staff. •Actively facilitate and support integration of aircraft subsystem models and associated capabilities into the simulation environment, including analysis of system interfaces, data exchanges, dependencies, and expected system behavior. •Support senior engineers and stakeholders in the development and documentation of system architectures, designs, functional decompositions, and interface definitions. •Develop and maintain system architecture models using standards-based modeling languages such as SysML and UML within Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools. •Support system requirements analysis, decomposition, allocation, traceability, and verification coverage to ensure technical requirements are appropriately implemented and tested. •Participate throughout the system development lifecycle, with emphasis on requirements analysis, model integration, verification and validation, system testing, and acceptance activities. •Actively facilitate and support development of integration and test plans, procedures, test cases, and associated technical documentation. •Assist with the execution of integration and test events and analyze test results, system logs, interface behavior, and other technical data to identify and document discrepancies. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution. •0–2 years of relevant engineering experience supporting systems engineering, software development, modeling and simulation, integration, test, or related technical activities. •Foundational understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis, system architecture, interfaces, integration, verification, and validation. •Operational familiarity with modeling and simulation concepts, including Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) simulation environments. •Operational familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and at least one programming language such as C++, C#, Java, or Python. •Solid functional working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems. •Demonstrated capacity to read and understand technical documentation, system requirements, interface definitions, architecture diagrams, and software or simulation-related technical artifacts. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate technical information effectively with engineers, developers, analysts, management, and government customers. •Active Secret security clearance required. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
