Hiring: JIB Analyst or Senior Analyst (Oil & Gas) Company: Petra Funds Group Location: Oklahoma City, OK Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 15:05:14 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, REST About the job Experience: •Able to think critically, communicate, multi-task, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment Required Skills: •Review joint interest billing statements received from the operator to ensure accuracy and compliance with joint operating agreements (JOAs). •Reconcile JIB statements with internal records and general ledger accounts. •Analyze costs allocated by the operator to ensure they are reasonable, necessary, and in accordance with the JOA. •Identify and investigate any discrepancies or unusual charges. •Communicate with the operator and other joint venture partners to resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and inquiries. •Provide detailed explanations and support to internal stakeholders regarding JIB-related matters. •Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to non-operated joint interest billings. •Ensure proper documentation of all transactions and agreements related to non-operated joint ventures.
