Hiring: Janitor Company: Chugach Government Solutions, LLC Location: San Diego, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 12:57:31 Employment Type: Contract / On-site About the job Required Skills: •Incumbent will clean and sanitize restroom facilities and related fixtures including drinking fountains, refrigerated water coolers, custodial mop sinks, restroom sinks, urinals, showers, and toilets. •Lead and oversee sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors. •Replenish supplies in restrooms, facilities, etc. •Lead and oversee ensuring all dusting (both high and low) areas are maintained as necessary and polishing furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment. •Wash windows (both interior and exterior), mirrors, and walls. Washing windows may require the use of ladders. Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles. •Move and arrange furniture and equipment for cleaning and replacement when completed. •Lead and oversee cleaning window blinds either Venetian or vertical as required. •Identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities. Qualifications: •At least 6 months of Janitorial experience. •General knowledge of hand and power tools. •Mature judgment and ability to work with little or no supervision. •Be a U.S. Citizen or legal residency alien. •Valid state driver’s license with excellent driving record (must provide current driving record). •Must be able to pass background investigation. •Work is performed mostly indoors, with some outdoor required when directed. Outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. •Work hours are subject to change, with overtime, nights, weekends and/or holiday work as needed. •Subject to hazards that may cause personal bodily harm; diseases, cuts, bruises, burns, common colds, influenza, dust odors and elevated noise levels. •Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard, and soft-carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces, and elevated levels using ladders.
