Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced IT Infrastructure Consultant or other senior staff •Implement, operate and support various devices and systems utilizing prescribed methods •Perform routine systems work requiring application of standard techniques and procedures •Work under direction of supervisor or Senior IT Infrastructure Consultant who screens assignments for unusual or difficult problems •Develop working knowledge of systems, equipment, and supporting applications, and how they support the business •Maintain key performance and process metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, procedures, and systems, generally under the direction of senior staff •Effectively use various forms of communication to successfully perform job duties •Performs on-call responsibilities as part of an on-call rotation Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree •This position requires unescorted access to certain critical cyber assets which would require applicants to satisfy all Company and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standard 004 security requirements, which includes a background investigation. •Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related degree. •Strong technical knowledge of firewall administration and configuring and monitoring network equipment. •We reserve the right to modify the application deadline or discontinue accepting applications for any position if deemed necessary. •Learn more at WEC Energy Group will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
