Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related qualification. •Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. •Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer. •Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security. •Applied hands-on capability in security systems, including endpoint detection and response, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc. •Proficient in preparing written reports and documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. •Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods. •Professional certification like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar will be considered a plus. •Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate network security issues to peers and management.
