Required Skills: •This position is open to candidates located anywhere within the United States and may be performed remotely. Preference will be given to candidates located in or near Fairfax, Virginia or within commuting distance of a CGI office. •Your future duties and responsibilities •Build the department's annual operating and capital budget with leadership, consolidating inputs from team leaders, vendor contracts, and known renewals into the format Finance requires. •Maintain a rolling forecast that updates as commitments, renewals, and actuals land, and flag where the year end position is drifting from plan. •Model the cost of proposed initiatives, headcount changes, and contract renewals so leadership can compare options before committing. •Actively facilitate and support annual budget cycle calendar: submissions, reviews, revisions, and final load, on Finance's schedule. •Own the IT budget tracker: build and maintain the workbook that consolidates Finance's monthly files and keep the department side model to the lines Finance cannot supply (planned capitalizations, assets not yet on the register, multi year tails). •Run the monthly Finance file intake after each close: the prepaid amortization ledger, the fixed asset register export, the intangible amortization schedule, and general ledger detail for the recognition accounts. Qualifications: •Operational familiarity with technology cost attribution frameworks (for example, Technology Business Management). •Progress toward a CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.
