Hiring: IT Business Analyst IV Company: Railroad Commission of Texas Location: Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:13:54 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : AWS, Azure, Azure DevOps, Business Analysis, Data Warehouse, Enterprise Architecture, GitHub, Informatica, Quality Assurance, Root Cause Analysis, SQL, SaaS, Snowflake, Systems Design About the job Experience: •10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including documentation of processes, requirements, and managing activities; planning, developing, and implementing projects or maintenance activities. •8 years of experience as a Business Analyst involving information technology programs. •4+ years of experience in data analysis and/or data architecture Required Skills: •This on-site role requires the selected candidate to work from the RRC office in Austin, Texas, and may be eligible for up to 2 days of remote work per week, subject to approval. •Assesses LoneSTAR program processes, procedures, and standards with a focus on analysis and design, recommends and implements improvements, and monitors implementation and project adherence to these processes. •Analyzes and documents business processes for IT projects, including the transition of legacy/mainframe systems to modern technologies. •Elicits requirements, prepares requirements packages, analyzes requirements, verifies and validates requirements and solutions. •Defining, validating, and deploying AI-enabled business use cases using Copilot, Kiro, or similar AI platforms. •Develops and/or reviews complex system documents and business processes to convey business requirements and to support efficient system design. •Coordinates and/or participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality. •Conducts tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
