Required Skills: •Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for custom application projects, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications that enable development teams to deliver effective, and sustainable solutions. •Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements review sessions to align business needs with custom application capabilities. •Analyze and model business processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. •Partner cross-functionally with development teams, UX/UI designers, and quality analysts to ensure requirements are clear, testable, and delivered on time. •Partner with project managers on scope management, requirements prioritization, timeline coordination, and risk communication to keep custom application initiatives on track. •Manage and maintain requirements backlogs in Azure DevOps, ensuring stories are refined and ready for development. •Perform data analysis using Excel and Power BI to validate business logic, support requirements decisions, and inform stakeholder conversations. •Document business rules, data mapping specifications, and integration requirements for cross-system initiatives. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. •Two to ten years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, or a related role, depending on level. •Demonstrated experience supporting or collaborating with project managers on custom application or software development initiatives. •Proficiency in requirements elicitation, user story writing, and acceptance criteria definition. •Operational familiarity with Kanban boards or similar work tracking tools for backlog management (Applied Medical uses Azure DevOps). •Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, with working knowledge of Power BI. •Solid understanding of software development processes and how requirements support technical delivery. •Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. •Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and present to stakeholders. •Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, quality analysts, and project managers.
