Hiring: IT and Network Security Engineer Company: MORSE Corp Location: Cambridge, MA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 10:34:46 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Ansible, Python, Terraform, VPN About the job Experience: •5+ years in a network engineer role leading the design of large, complex networks Required Skills: •Design and implement enterprise-wide network solutions, upgrades and changes with a strong focus on network security (implementing/managing firewalls, crafting firewall policies, developing trust zone models, building systems/apps into trust zones) with NIST 800-171 compliance in mind •Lead network and security projects from planning to implementation to ensure successful delivery with strong communication, documentation, and organization •Provide enhancements to our networks leveraging your expertise of switching, routing, and data flows •Conduct related technical analysis & planning for deployment of evolving technology solutions, leveraging architecture standards and design guides •Interface with stakeholders to gather requirements for new projects •Produce simple & concise documentation around project budgets, implementation plans, technical drawings, project management artifacts, and operational handoffs as necessary •Lead and mentor junior team members through configuration and implementation activities •Serve as Tier 2 Support for network operations in corporate network environment Qualifications: •US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance •Practical experience and applied knowledge of routing protocols •In-depth knowledge of modern data center network design, both internal data centers and cloud service provider environments •Layer 3 segmentation and advanced routing skills •Significant experience with Aruba Wireless Environment, Fortigate Firewall, Extreme Networks and Cisco switching •Demonstrable ability to break down and analyze network communications at the packet level •Operational familiarity with cloud security solutions desired •Excellent communication and organization skills •Coding and/or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform); experience with network automation processes and tools desired Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
