You’ll guide development teams and help shape overall solution direction. •Lead and oversee all Node device architecture design decisions. •Plan and lead the Technical Architecture analysis, design, and implementation of project application environments •Lead and oversee architecture documentation and for leading the technical review processes and obtaining technical approvals by the relevant technical bodies within Cooper Lighting Solutions •Leading the adoption of best-in-class software engineering practices, frameworks, and tools. You mentor and you provide guidance and feedback to other software developers. •Work within standard protocols to design usage in our products and support the intended functionality. Document and review these protocol decisions including coding proof of concept and assessment code. Then provide training and support for the developers to use them. Qualifications: •Bachelor's or degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field •BLE MESH protocol & security awareness •Zigbee Protocol (ZB1.2HA and ZB3.0) & security awareness •CanBus, DALI Bus level protocol & security awareness •Light Engine, Open Loop Daylight Control, Auto Calibration, and other lighting technologies •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
