In this role, you will be responsible for developing and customizing Lubuntu-based ISO images to run on dialysis machine hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, embedded systems, and a deep knowledge of system imaging and customization. •This role is critical to ensure that dialysis machines operate efficiently, securely, and meet regulatory standards. You will work closely with hardware and software engineers to integrate IoT capabilities, optimize the operating environment, and create reliable and compliant ISO images for deployment across devices. •Develop and customize Lubuntu-based ISO images for dialysis machine hardware, ensuring that all necessary software, configurations, and drivers are integrated. •Automate the process of creating, testing, and updating ISO images for deployment to a fleet of dialysis machines. •Interface directly with hardware teams to ensure proper integration of IoT sensors and modules within the ISO image. •Optimize boot times, resource utilization, and overall system stability for the devices. Qualifications: •Proven experience in IoT development, particularly with embedded Linux systems and IoT device integration. •Strong knowledge of ISO creation and customization, with experience in Linux system administration preferably Ubuntu. •Applied hands-on capability in embedded systems, hardware-software integration, and troubleshooting. •Strong scripting skills for automation and customization tasks. •Knowledge of networking protocols and security principles for IoT-enabled medical devices (e.g., data encryption, secure communications).
