Required Skills: •The Jefferies Energy Transition team, based in Houston and New York, is one of the largest investment banking teams on Wall Street dedicated to advising companies in the Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicle, Low Carbon Fuels, Decarbonization and Sustainability sectors. •The Energy Transition Team is actively looking for an Associate to join our New York office. •Lead the execution of M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions for Energy Transition clients •Develop and present client materials including pitch books, management presentations, and board materials tailored to the Energy Transition sector. •Build and maintain complex financial models including DCF, precedent transactions, trading comps, and accretion/dilution analyses specific to Energy Transition assets and structures •Conduct in-depth valuation and strategic analysis of Energy Transition infrastructure assets and companies. •Draft offering memoranda, investor presentations, and regulatory filings (e.g., S-1s, 10-Ks) for public and private capital raises. •Engage directly with senior client executives and internal senior bankers to drive transaction execution and client relationship development. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. •Minimum 3+ years of investment banking or relevant advisory experience, with a strong preference for candidates with direct exposure to the energy transition sector. •Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, with a deep understanding of energy transition specific metrics •In-depth knowledge of energy transition commercial structures and industry trends. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights. •Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. •Based in New York or willing to relocate Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
