Hiring: Inventory Controller I Company: ChampionX Location: Odessa, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:21:41 Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly About the job Experience: •1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse, materials management, or supply chain Required Skills: •Maintain accurate inventory records for ESP equipment, including pumps, motors, protectors, variable speed drives, and cable •Perform daily inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns in the ERP system •Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies •Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and transaction errors •Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent stockouts and excess inventory •Verify material availability to support manufacturing, assembly, repair, field service, and customer delivery schedules •Coordinate inbound and outbound material movements between warehouses, repair facilities, service centers, and field locations •Track serialized equipment and maintain asset traceability throughout the inventory lifecycle Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to drive a forklift •Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy •Strong communication and customer service skills •Demonstrated capacity to prioritize and multitask through multiple computer programs •Strong proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP is a plus •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment •Highly motivated with a positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence •Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve shipping and inventory issues •Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues across departments to achieve shared goals •Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively Compensation: •Competitive benefits and rewards package •Comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching and more!
