Hiring: Internal Communications Manager Company: SpaceX Location: Hawthorne, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:23:39 Employment Type: Remote About the job Experience: •10+ years of experience in communications or public relations •Practical experience using AI tools to draft, produce, personalize, or scale communications Required Skills: •Advise senior executives on communications gaps and opportunities; turn them into plans that keep employees informed, aligned, and engaged •Lead change communications for company-wide and cross-division initiatives so employees understand what is changing, why, and what it means for their work •Build a connected, unified culture across divisions, locations, and newly joined teams •Develop and lead internal leadership speaking programs (live, filmed, and other formats) •Set communications strategy and standards so teams use the right tools and channels to reach their audience •Own and scale the company intranet for diverse organizations; establish style guides, templates, and practices that raise quality •Manage internal communications in crises •Shape key internal announcements and narratives Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree •5+ years of professional experience in business/organizational communications •Available to travel to SpaceX locations as needed ( •Demonstrated capacity to share writing samples and examples of previous internal communications campaigns, events, or leadership content •Based on-site in Hawthorne, CA or the Bay Area, CA.
