Required Skills: •Prepare budgets and proposals for building enclosure services on a wide range of building and client types. •Review construction documents including architectural drawings, specifications, trade submittals, and shop drawings. •Evaluate existing buildings to identify enclosure problems and develop proper repair designs. •Prepare reports to summarize methodologies, observations, conclusions, and recommendations. •Attend design phase, pre-construction, pre-installation, and construction progress meetings and provide technical expertise. •Conduct regular walk-through observations of building enclosure construction for compliance with contract documents, manufacturers’ instructions, and industry standards. •Perform field quality assessment and diagnostic testing to ASTM and AAMA standards. •Mentor and train other BPL staff on technical issues. Qualifications: •Bachelors’ degree and/or technical diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline, or equivalent of industry experience.
